BETHESDA MISSION TRUST
Bethesda Mission is a registered trust in Coimbatore , India as a socio educational charity . It was founded by Pastor Samuel.G to help orphans. Preach the gospel and plant churches in the hills of Nilgiris. Initially the mission was non formally formed and active in reaching the un reached with the good news. Pastor Samuel lead a cycle team moving to different places preaching the gospel. He formed the Joshua team and preached to villages and tea garden workers. The first church was planted in the borders of Tamilnadu and Kerala a place called Erumad. He raised donations for almost a year and built a small church .Later a small home for the orphaned and needy children was started with the help of Global Missions. Now there are more than 100 children in three homes (Bethesda homes for children), ten widows, and 15 churches. A training centre is in the pipe line at Govindapuram.Kerala.
Bethesda mission Trust was established in the year 1986, With a vision to reach the unreached. A mission with a vision and compassion . The founder and the managing trustee Pastor. Samuel.G. has a burden for children. It was a humble beginning with just 10 children and a small village church.
Now Bethesda mission is currently housing 125 children and 25 widows in three homes. There are more 20 churches in various places of Tamilnadu. Bethesda is really a house of mercy for thousands in this great nation of India. Bethesda has reached church leaders with ministry tools, conferences and blessed thousands of ministries and ministers.
The Mission is registered as charity trust with govt. of india. Also it has the permission of the ministry of home affairs - New Delhi - for receiving foreign contribution under the foriegn contribution regulations acts. |
